Delete Account & Data

Zeroed is a Local-First App

Unlike traditional apps, Zeroed does not have a central account system. Your data is stored on your device, giving you complete control over your privacy and information.

How to Remove Your Data

Since Zeroed is designed with privacy in mind, removing your data is straightforward. Follow the steps below based on the features you use.

1 Local Data (On Your Device)

All your budget data, transactions, categories, and payees are stored locally on your device in an encrypted database.

To remove local data:

⚠️ Important: Once deleted, local data cannot be recovered unless you have a backup on Google Drive.

2 Google Drive Sync (If Enabled)

If you use the cross-device sync feature, an encrypted copy of your data is stored in your personal Google Drive account.

To disconnect and remove synced data:

  1. Open Zeroed and sign out from your Google account in the app settings.
  2. Visit the Google Account Permissions page to revoke Zeroed's access to your Drive.
  3. Open Google Drive and delete the ZeroedData folder to remove all synced data.
